Tagua

Avocado 3 strand necklace: $ 18.00.
Tagua nut is a dried seedpod from an Amazonian palm tree that grows in the tropical rainforests of South America.

Tagua nuts have a natural brown skin,  and creamy white appearance. Some people know tagua as " vegetable ivory".

The colors are obtained by using natural dyes extracted from flowers, fuits, roots, leaves and seeds. Tagua is totally natural and no animals or trees are destroyed in harvesting this renewable resource. Tagua nuts fall from the Tagua Palm tree to the ground. Year after year the Tagua palm tree will continue producing nuts.

Scarves made out of Alpaca wool with tagua tie.
